Summary

The Man of Steel hits the big screen in director Richard Donner's special effects-laden, Oscar-nominated adventure. Mild-mannered Clark Kent (Christopher Reeve) works as a reporter at the &NFi;Daily Planet&NFi_; alongside his crush, Lois Lane (Margot Kidder) -- who's in love with Superman. Clark must summon his superhero alter ego when the nefarious Lex Luthor (a scene-stealing Gene Hackman) launches a plan to take over the world.

Best comicbook adaption. Christopher Reeve is magical. Seen it over 100 times.

I prefer Superman II, but is way better than Superman Returns.

To me, still is the best comic book movie. Richard Donner did a great job by choosing Reeve for the main role.
