Summary

California Sen. Jay Bulworth (Warren Beatty), reduced by years of compromise and scheming, hires a hit man to put him out of his misery. Kicking off an election campaign with nothing to lose, Bulworth lets his mouth get him in hot water. When his newfound honesty gives him clarity and garners respect from constituents, he decides to call off his assassination. But it might be too late, as the plot has already been set in motion. Beatty directs.
