Summary

Underground singer-songwriter Sherry McGrale (Kim Dickens) makes a name for herself with a powerful song about her rape. A rock journalist (Gabriel Mann) pitches a story about Sherry, but his interest runs deeper than her music -- he has a personal connection to the crime. Don Cheadle earned an Emmy nod for his turn as Sherry's protective manager in this drama directed by Allison Anders. Rosanna Arquette also stars.
