Great story, beautiful art direction and solid performances. I'm not familiar with the comic book, but this seems to be a great adaptation.

I loved the atmosphere, and the "romance" between the main characters.

Pretty good as a movie, not so much as an adaptation.

I fully agree with grr. If you don't know the graphic novel: Strange film with a message.[2]

Well said by grr. You need to know the Graphic Novel, or become just a strange movie, with a beatiful photography.
