Summary

David Fincher's chilling drama based on actual events in the 1960s and '70s recounts the infamous actions of a cryptic killer who stalked the streets of San Francisco in an executioner's hood and left clues about his crimes in the newspaper. Jake Gyllenhaal -- flanked by an impressive ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and Chloë Sevigny -- stars as the reporter who went on to write a best-selling true-crime book.

A good movie, but stretches the time limit. If it's your only option, give it a watch, but there are better films to enjoy with your time.

It's a great suspense, but the length is quite tiring. I love the acting and though slow, the story evolves really well.

It just takes too long, but with such chilling story, it's worth watching it to the end.

One of my favorite serial killer movies. Even though it tells a real story and feels like a documentary, it's still thrilling and chilling.
