Summary
A darkly comic film version of Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s novel, Mother Night tells the twisted tale of Howard W. Campbell Jr. (Nick Nolte), an American writer recruited by the United States as an informer during World War II. Working undercover, he becomes one of the leading anti-Semitic news broadcasters in Nazi Germany. Years later, he's recognized as a Nazi and thrown into an Israeli prison, where he pens his memoirs and awaits his fate.
